
Animals on Film produce training programs aiming to demonstrate best practice in animal management, capture, handling and restraint techniques. The programs are a very useful resource for wildlife professionals working in captive or field research environments. The programs have been produced & developed by a group of experienced zoo industry personnel with keeping, education, vet nursing, research and film making experience. They have compiled, researched and interviewed recognised experts in the fields of herpetology raptor management and zoonotic disease.
People who work with animals will find this material useful, either for training new staff such as, Vet Nurses, Zoo-keeper’s and Conservation staff or when working with fauna in a field research environment where trapping, Zoonosis and data collection issues are the focus.
The Best Practice Capture Handling and Restraint programs comprise of a DVD in NTSC or PAL versions and a comprehensive manual, in PDF format, supplied on CD Rom.
